1. WHO WE ARE
Krishna Marriage is an advisory team of devotees who facilitate introductions for ISKCON devotees for the purposes of marriage and can offer support and guidance (both pre and post marriage) as required.
2. HOW WE WORK
You will be asked to select one of our team of matchmakers who will share profiles of compatible matches with you and will represent you and introduce you to potential partners on your request.
You may of course increase your chances of finding a partner by registering with other systems. However, so that we can effectively serve you, please keep us informed of any introductions made by other parties at all times.
The final decision is always down to the individual and the Krishna Marriage Team cannot be held responsible for the overall outcome of any introduction made.
3. ELIGIBILITY FOR USING THIS SERVICE
Membership is open to those who are single, divorced, or widowed; affiliated with ISKCON; chanting the Hare Krishna mantra daily; and preferably following the 4 regulative principles, i.e. vegetarian, no intoxication, no gambling, and no illicit sex. At least one should be vegetarian and striving to follow all the principles. For references, one should be able to provide names and email addresses of 2 referees who are senior devotees and/or hold positions of responsibility within a recognised ISKCON centre, temple, nama hatta or equivalent.
A large proportion of our database is made up of devotees from the UK, and many of them do not want to relocate. So if you are registering from outside UK, please be aware that the options we have for you may be limited. However we will try to serve you as best as we can.
4. CRITERIA USED FOR MATCHING
We endeavour to make every effort to ensure that only suitable members are introduced to each other, based on the information provided. We will select suitable members based on the preferences that you have selected on the form.
5. CONTACTING US
All contact with us can be made by email - firstname.lastname@example.org. The services can only start once a completed application form is received from the applicant and references have been checked.
Your details may change over time and so it is your responsibility to inform us of changes and thus keep our records up to date. If you wish to view and edit your profile at any time, you can make the request, and we will share it with you and then update your changes on the database.
6. CONFIDENTIALITY AND ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
We undertake to make it our topmost priority to protect the member’s confidentiality at all times. By joining Krishna Marriage, you are giving consent to your details being seen by administrators, matchmakers on our team and potential matches.
The lists of names and addresses of clients will remain our property and will not be sold, lent, hired, or used for any purpose other than as part of this introduction service, without your permission.
We will ensure that applicants are removed from our lists as soon as they request to do so.
We insist that any information shared with you will be kept confidential and not shared with any other parties. In this regard, please do not discuss any matches sent to you with anyone other than the authorities whom you have chosen to guide you, and please request that they maintain full confidentiality of all parties as well.
We only supply details that have been provided to us in good faith. Although we do check references, we also advise members to verify the details themselves. We are unable to accept responsibility for the accuracy of the information given to us.
If an applicant is dissatisfied with the behaviour of another candidate received please contact email@example.com
